September Introduction

It seems that the hot topic around homes and many of the Home Owners Associations is the gas leases and the royalties that people are expecting to see coming in the near future. Each week or so, another lease agreement is finalized and each one appears to be better than the last. Unfortunately, most people are only looking at the bonus and not considering the royalties and committed drill schedule as well, since these play a big part in the overall gain to the homeowners.

Many people are asking what amounts they should expect over the years as the gas is being produced from their land. The production from the various wells does vary so your checks might not be the same as the estimates shown in the article, but it does give an approximation of the size of Tarrant County royalty checks.
